Joshuah Alaniz is an Account Processor at American Wealth Advisers, where he brings experience in operations, team leadership, and highly regulated industries to his role. After building his professional background in insurance, Josh transitioned into wealth management with an open mind, a strong operational foundation, and a commitment to helping create a positive experience for AWA's clients.

Prior to joining American Wealth Advisers, Josh worked in the insurance industry and earned the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU®) designation from The Institutes. He also became licensed in Arizona for property and casualty insurance. His insurance background provided experience working within structured processes, navigating detailed requirements, and understanding the importance of accuracy and consistency in a regulated environment.

Throughout his career, Josh has also developed experience leading high-performing teams and identifying opportunities to improve operational processes. His work with key performance indicators, process efficiency, and team performance helped shape an approach centered on organization, accountability, and continuous improvement. He now brings those skills into wealth management while maintaining a strong focus on supporting clients and the broader AWA team.

Outside of work, Josh is an environmentalist with a strong appreciation for Arizona's natural landscape. He enjoys exploring and helping maintain the state's desert trails and spending time outdoors whenever he can. When he is not on the trails, Josh enjoys relaxing at home with video games and horror movies or taking scenic drives with his dog, Pixel.
